| Indhold: |
This course will build on previous Akkadian courses (Akkadisk A and B) and will principally concentrate on the Standard Babylonian dialect of Akkadian, as used in literary and historical texts. A selection of literary texts will be read, for example, parts of the Standard Babylonian Epic of Gilgamesh, the Poem of Erra, and the Poem of the Righteous Sufferer. Texts will be read primarily in cuneiform. |
