Indhold: |
The course will cover topics in advanced physical chemistry, both experimental and theoretical. There will be a focus on different kind of spectroscopies (rotational, vibrational, electronic transitions) in gas, liquid and solid phase. The students are expected to gain general basic knowledge in the spectroscopic methods and their applications.

Målbeskrivelse: |
The student must have:
• an understanding of different method covered in the course including the theoretical background of these.
• be able to judge advantages and disadvantages of the different methods.
• be able to critically read literature at the international journal article level within the physical chemistry topics discussed.
