When writing your thesis you register for examination by signing a thesis contract. In the thesis contract you commit yourself to hand in your thesis 6 months after the contract is signed. If you fail to hand in your thesis on the set date, this count as one failed examination and you must sign a new thesis contract in which you commit yourself to hand in your thesis 3 months later. You can read more about specific rules which apply to the thesis contract in the thesis contract, which can be found at the bottom of this page.
You must be aware that, you cannot hand in your thesis sooner than three months after you sign your thesis contract.
Two yearly periods for signing of the thesis contract
•Between the 1'st of June and the 1'st of September
•Between the 1'st of January and the 1'st of february
You must hand in a signed thesis contract and an assignment formulation.
