| Indhold: |
In this course the students will produce an audiovisual work as a short
fiction/documentary/experimental film for YouTube or Vimeo. No advance production
skills are required. The course will address questions as well as aesthetic choices in
sound editing and sound design for film, video and digital media on a basic level.
Both production and theory will deal with narrative discourses that arise from the
different ways of combining or converging sound and moving image to make
meaning. A number of theoretical and technical texts on audiovisual/sound
production will be discussed. The course includes 10 weeks (2 hours per week) of
obligatory classroom introduction, courseware on how to work with the production
equipments and use of sound studio/production along with basic theories on sound
design for film/video; it will also include 4 weeks of fieldwork (2 hours a week). The
students will be working in groups depending on the number of participants.
Assessment: Free oral test with own original work; 7-point scale, with External
examiner |
