Indhold: Commercial and public services are increasingly implemented as ‘digital services’, which are automated services that are delivered via the Internet. This summer school focuses on innovation of digital services in healthcare. E-health portals, telemedicine, and self-monitoring are just a few among many digital services that have fundamentally changed healthcare in the past decade. The aim of this summer school is to give students a theoretical framework and practical skills in developing innovative digital services. The course will emphasize critical services that have high potential for generating enduring societal impact. In particular, we will focus on the healthcare domain in which digital services play a critical role in service delivery and have critical impact on key performance indicators, and require security, reliability, integration, and presentation of information to both professional and private users. The summer school will feature a full day program in which lectures, workshops, and prototyping work is mixed. Students will work in interdisciplinary groups to design innovative digital services based on cases given by external organizations.
