| Indhold: |
The course examines the changing landscape of journalism, focusing on (new) forms of
participation of non-professional journalists in the making of news. It provides an overview of
the latest developments in the news media industry, and attempts to critically evaluate the role
of ad-hoc journalists through selected case studies. Among others, the course discusses
blogging, micro-blogging, and participation on social news sites as acts of journalism, through
the lens of a number of different theories. |
