| Undervisnings- periode: |
The course is a summerschool. It starts August 17 and ends with an oral exam on August 31. |
| Undervisnings- form: |
Lectures, groupwork and class. The students will for example learn to do an elevator pitch, a market survey and a business plan. |
| Indhold: |
We would like to offer students at University of Copenhagen and other universities both inside and outside Denmark the opportunity to join a summer school about commercialisation and entrepreneurship in Copenhagen. Based on KU patents students will learn about how to read a patent, how to make a market survey – to set up questionnaire & interview
stakeholder/customers and to sum up of ideas to business area where patented technology can be used. They will be introduced to value creation & demand and work on qualifying concrete ideas on products/processes. They will be introduced to capital requirement & liquidity budget and work on writing a mini business plan and presenting it as an elevator pitch. Please see attachment for program and workload. |

Enrollment at KUnet from May 15 to June 1, 2012. Ekstra enrollment period: July 15 to August 1. |
| Faglige forudsætninger: |
Knowledge about chemistry at bachelor level from for example nanoscience, chemistry, biochemistry, veterinary & molecular biology. |
| Eksamensform: |
The students must produce a mini business plan: A 3-5 pages project summary presenting their innovation (process and concept) and an oral exam: 10 min. Presentations based on the business plan. Intern censorship, graded according to the 7-point grading scale.
No re-exam. The course has to be followed again. |
