Indhold: Indonesian Language 2 is the fifth semester of Indonesian language and is designed to help students develop communicative skills in modern Indonesian at an intermediate level, with emphasis on the written language. Students will build on the foundation acquired previously in the earlier level Indonesian classes through reading, discussion, and grammatical analysis of authentic Thai texts. Translation, both to and from Indonesian, will be an important part of the course. Over the term, students will read at least 75 pages of authentic Indonesian text representing a variety of styles and sources, including fiction, non-fiction, and newspaper articles.

Faglige forudsætninger: Passed Indonesian Language 1: Modern with Southeast Asian Language History (2010 Studieordning) or consent of the instructor.
